THE BLINDSPOT: THE TRUTH IN CRYPTO-SCAMS.

Image
“A truly successful lie must start with a grain of truth.” “Lies cannot exist without truth; the truth isn't dependent on lies.” Formats used in crypto-scams are based on truth values. I did a review on some scam tricks pulled by these tricksters and found out that every format they use is based on real hustle or businesses. Truly there are miners, truly, there are managers, cloud mining firms, faucets apps, etc, that are genuine. Now these scammers pretend to be one of these genuine businesses(truth value), and promises a very large unusual profit over a short course(lie). Now many people who are covetous, having seeing the warnings and signs still patronise these scammers(blindspot). As I made it known in my earlier posts. Any offer too good to be true, any body trying to get your private keys, is a scammer. Always strive to locate the blindspot in every online contract or deal. It is common for scammers to pretend to be real. Some of them may even provide documents

Cryptocurrency Scams, and SCAM formats.

It is no longer news that several people, due to ignorance, have fallen for various forms of scams.

Ever since I heard about bitcoin, I was willing to trade with it. I was indeed looking for free bitcoin, or faucets that pay high value btc, but I was wrong. I joined several bitcoin groups, and fell for scam sites, that were mostly phishing sites.

After much investigations and time, I discovered that the reasons people get scammed are:
1. Underprivileged.

2. Greed and covetousness.

3. Looking for free money.

4. IGNORANCE: Scammers on the other hand, know these factors, and they do really play their cards well. It has gotten to the point where no one can be trusted. I realised a larger percentage of people on group chats are SCAMMERS. They come up daily with new formats.

#Formats used by SCAMMERS includes:
1. Giving out btc address with 1btc or more for victims(mostly newbees) to import, then asking victims to pay some money to get the private key of these read only addresses, which they themselves don't have.

2. Sell fake java script codes or expired codes to victims, in disguise of working cheat for freebitco.in or similar sites.

3. Acting as bitcoin account managers.

4. Acting as bitcoin miners, and willing to connect a miner to your wallet address for a token.

5. Tell lies about how they would help you mine with blockchain, and later stealing your private key.

6. Fake Faucet sites, all to phish user info, and generate traffic for underground mining activities.

7. They bring up ponzi schemes. Stay away! There are many more formats used by these fraudsters. Please don't forget to share post.
